Saturday February 28, 2026. 12:00 - 3:30. West Seneca Library, 1300 Union Road, West Seneca. Teni-author book event with brief readings by several writers. Authors will have tables set up to sell and talk about their books.
Thursdays March 5 to April 2, 2026. 1:45 – 2:45. Weekly class at Amherst Senior Center, 370 John James Audubon Pkwy, Getzville. Historic Places of Buffalo & WNY – must be registered for the class to attend.
Saturday March 7, 2026. 10:00 – 2:00. Epiphany United Church of Christ, 9365 Clarence Center Road, Clarence Center. Vendor Fair with various artisans including Susan Fnster – author of Harry Altman: Town Casino, Glen Casino and Glen Park.
Wednesday March 18, 2026. 7:00. West Seneca Historical Society at West Seneca Library, 1300 Union Road, West Seneca. Presentation: Historic Places of Buffalo & WNY – the Southtowns.
Sunday, March 22, 2026. 4:00 – 7:00. The Cave, 71 Military Road, Buffalo. Benefit for Ted Reinhardt and Bruce Brucato. Will be giving a short talk about Ted & Bruce plus selling copies of History of Buffalo Music – with the proceeds going to the Scholarship Fund.
Monday April 6, 2026. North Tonawanda Dyngus Day. Will be Grand Marshall of the parade in North Tonawanda, starting at 5:00. After-party at Gateway Harbor Park Canal Street Pavilion in Tonawanda with live Polka music, Polish Food , beverages, pussy willow chases, squirt gun fights – plus a talk about Dyngus Day and book sales to benefit the event.

Buffalo History Books, Rick Falkowski and other authors, will be a vendor at Tonawandas Gateway Harbor Park Concerts, every Wednesday at Gateway Park in North Tonawanda at 6:00. Concerts begin June 17 and continue until August 26, 2026.
WNY Author’s Alliance will be scheduling events at restaurants, night-clubs and halls featuring 4 to 6 authors discussing, exhibiting and selling their books. This will be a new concept in entertainment – featuring talks and exhibits by authors, with food and drinks from the venue. Contact rickfalkowski@aol.com or 716-583- 0540 for more info.

About the Author
Rick Falkowski has been involved in all aspects of WNY entertainment during the past 60 years. He is the founder of the Buffalo Music Hall of Fame and Buffalo Music Awards, former publisher of Buffalo Backstage Magazine, coordinator of Tonawanda's Gateway Harbor Concerts, Assistant Curator of the New Cheektowaga Historical Association Museum, owner of Buffalo History Books publishing service, a UB graduate, USAF veteran, former employee of ASCAP (American Society of Authors, Composers & Publishers) and Time Warner retiree. He presents classes on the History of Buffalo History and Music at libraries, community centers, schools, senior living centers and for various organizations. In addition, Rick is the author of History of Buffalo Music & Entertainment (2017), Profiles Volume I: Historic & Influential People from Buffalo & WNY – the 1800s (2019) – Second Edition (2024), Profiles Volume II: Historic & Influential People from Buffalo & WNY – the Early 1900s (2021), The Spirit of Buffalo Women (2023) and Historic Places of Buffalo & WNY (2025). Working on two new books for 2026 – Profiles Volume III: Historical & Influential People from Buffalo & WNY – the Late 1900s and X-Terrestrial Ancestors, along with assisting authors in releasing their new books.
