Rick Falkowski
Rick is the author of five history books: History of Buffalo Music & Entertainment (2017), Profiles Volume I: Historic & Influential People from Buffalo & WNY - the 1800s (2019) - Second Edition in 2025, Profiles Volume II: Historic & Influential People from Buffalo & WNY - the Early 1900s (2021), The Spirit of Buffalo Women (2024) and Historic Places of Buffalo & WNY (2025). He is currently writing two additional books. In addition he was publisher/editor of Buffalo Backstage Magazine and assisted in developing other publications. Nancy WIse-Reid
Nancy is a community educator with 20 years experience teaching computer classes. Her classes include instruction in MS Office, Smartphone use, book design and computer skills, taught through her company WiseClasses and at the Amherst Senior Center, Williamsville Community Education, Ken-Ton Adult & Community Education, Lewiston-Porter CSD and Niagara Wheatfield CSD. Nancy created the layout and design of Profiles Volume I: Historic & Influential People from Buffalo & WNY - the 1800s, Profiles Volume II: Historic & Influential People from Buffalo & WNY - the Late 1900s by Rick Falkowski and Larry Bell's Legacy: Aerospace Pioneering by Hugh Neeson. nlwise12@gmail.com

Buffalo History Books is responsible for publishing the five books by Rick Falkowski, the Larry Bell book by Hugh Neeson & the staff of the Niagara Aerospace Museum and Harry Altman: Buffalo's Master Showman by Susan Fenster. In addition they are working with a number of area authors that will be publishing books in 2026.

David Przepiora - Cheektowaga New York Town History - book by former Cheektowaga Historical Association curator and current treasurer.
Several other projects are being considered and contracts will soon be signed.
The WNY Author’s Alliance will be scheduling events at restaurants, night-clubs and halls featuring talks by four to six authors and up to 10 authors exhibiting/selling/discussing their books. This is a new concept in entertainment - featuring talks by authors, with food and drinks from the venue. A laid back evening of entertainment where you can obtain information about books with information about the WNY area, meet area authors, have the opportunity to purchase books directly from the writers and associate with other people that share your literary interests.
