Friday, May 29. 2026. Tipsy Treasures. Father Justin Knights of Columbus Events Center, 2735 Union Road (near William), Cheektowaga. Something completely different. Over 20 vendors with food and drinks beind served. Stop in for a beer and conversation about my books.

Friday, June 19, 2026. 6:00 - 9:00. The 1st Author's Alliance Salon & Soiree. Father Justin Kights of Columbus Events Center, 2735 Union Road (near William), Cheektowaga. Finally the First Salon & Soiree. Six authors will be speaking, over 10 authors will be participating, door prizes, chance to bid on authors books, opportunity to speak to authors and purchase their books, Buffalo History Trivia contest, food and drinks avaiable.You do not want to miss this first event.

Saturday, June 27, 2026. 6:00 - 9:00. AUthor's Alliance Salon & Soiree. BestCellar Book Bar, 9560 Main Street, Clarence. Six authors will be speaking, psychic readings, door prizes, chance to bid on authors books, opportunity to speak to authors and purchase their books, Buffalo History Trivia contest, food and drinks avaiable. An evening to remember.

Buffalo History Books, Rick Falkowski and other authors, will be a vendor at Tonawandas Gateway Harbor Park Concerts, every Wednesday at Gateway Park in North Tonawanda at 6:00. Concerts begin June 17 and continue until August 26, 2026.

Coming in Fall 2026. The Caz, 2221 Seneca Street, Buffalo. Monthly residency starting in September. Every month there will be a one hour presetation about a different decade or style of music, followed by a one hour reunion performance by a group from that decade and/or style of music. You will not want to miss any of these special events. Watch for information.  

Premiering in 2026
WNY Author’s Alliance will be scheduling events at restaurants, night-clubs and halls featuring talks by four to six authors and up to 10 authors exhibiting/selling/discussing their books. This is a new concept in entertainment - featuring talks by authors, with food and drinks from the venue.

2026 Presentations that are available.



Early Buffalo Music & Entertainment. A look back to the beginning of Buffalo’s entertainment history, starting at Canal Street to early theaters, concert halls, vaudeville houses, big band nightclubs and music prior to the advent of Rock N Roll. Includes information on area radio stations, songwriters, musicians, entertainers and many historic photos.

Rock N Roll Buffalo. A review of the musicians, bands, DJ’s, clubs, concert halls and personalities that brought rock music to the Buffalo area. Starting with the beginning of Rock N Roll in the 50s, will focus on rock music, but will include all styles of music performed in WNY through the mid-80s, along with photos of the bands and venues.

Historic & Influential People from Buffalo & WNY – the Early 1800s. Information and photos of people who influenced the history, commerce and culture of WNY in the early 1800s. Will discuss noteworthy politicians, inventors, businessmen and others, including information on the building of Buffalo Harbor, the War of 1812 and the Erie Canal.

Town Founders. The people who founded the cities, towns, villages and sections of WNY during the 1800s.

Late 1800s Industry, Businesses & Culture. Info and photos of the people who made Buffalo & WNY a manufacturing center, built the mansions and influenced the society and culture of the late 1800s, including the social activists, religious leaders, medical pioneers and writers of the era, along with the achievements of women during the late 19th Century.

Early 1900s Society & Culture. Individuals involved in education, politics, entertainment, sports, religion, social welfare and white-collar companies of the WNY area, including retail, newspapers, hospitality, and other businesses, along with philanthropists that benefited our community.

Early 1900s Industry & Manufacturing. Information and photos highlighting the individuals that created the steel, automotive, airplane and other factories that shaped the Blue-Collar backbone of WNY during the early 20th Century. Includes philanthropists whose contributions continue to benefit the WNY community.
Early 1900s Combo. Excerpts from the two Early 1900s presentations combined into a single talk.

Spirit of Buffalo Women – Arts & Entertainment. Historic and influential women from Buffalo and WNY in the arts and entertainment, including musicians, actresses, authors and artists from the early 1800s to current times.

Spirit of Buffalo Women – Society & Business. Historic and influential women from Buffalo and WNY in business, education, social welfare, politics, manufacturing and philanthropy, from the early 1800s through the present.

Philanthropists & Social Benefactors. Individuals that contributed to the social welfare of WNY through their financial contributions, activities and organizations or foundations they created.

Historic Places of Buffalo & WNY. Information about historic locations, buildings, homes and places in our community, as identified by historic markers and other sites of interest. Five separate presentations: Niagara County, Northtowns, Southtowns, city of Buffalo (downtown) and the city of Buffalo (West, North, East & South Sides), plus a total book talk.

Presentations are 50 minutes long followed by a questions & answer period and the opprotunity to purchase signed copies of the books.
